The Four Agreements

"Now, in this world, mankind are naturally selfish, ambitious and striving to excel one above another; yet some are willing to build up others as well as themselves. So in the other world there are a variety of spirits. Some seek to excel. And this was the case with Lucifer when he fell. He sought for things which were unlawful. Hence he was sent down, and it is said he drew many away with him; and the greatness of his punishment is that he shall not have a tabernacle." (Joseph Smith, HC 5:20, p 387)

Kings and Queens

"In the dream of the second attention, we begin to create our personal heaven, and when we reach the dream of the third attention, our life is heaven. Heaven is a kingdom where we are the king or the queen. I have my personal kingdom and it's heaven, but it wasn't always heaven. It became heaven the moment that I no longer judged myself or anybody else—when I decided to respect my kingdom complketely, and when I learned to respect everybody else's kingdom." "O that I were an angel, and could have the wish of mine heart, that I might go forth and speak with the trump of God, with a voice to shake the earth, and cry repentance unto every people! Yea, I would declare unto every soul, as with the voice of thunder, repentance and the plan of redemption, that they should repent and come unto our God, that there might not be more sorrow upon all the face of the earth. But behold, I am a man, and do sin in my wish; for I ought to be content with the things which the Lord hath allotted unto me." (Alma 29:1-3)

In his wish, he setup an image of what he is not, instead of the perfect I am.

The Accuser

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ; For the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night." (Revelation 12:9-10)

Little children (2-3 yrs old):

  • Play all the time
  • Curious
  • Live in the moment
  • Express what they feel
  • React and defend themselves when wronged
  • Quickly forgive
  • Full of love
  • Full of laughter
  • Full of imagination
  • Friendly
  • Pretending all the time
  • Completely honest
  • Say what they mean
  • Not planning or scheming or calculating
  • Do what they want, when they want to do it
  • Exploring all the time (Hagoth)
  • Sing and dance
  • Have no fear, no voice of condemnation
  • Not ashamed of the past
  • Not worried about the future

When children "play" adult they:

  • Put on scowling, serious faces
  • Are severe
  • Are concerned with punishing
  • Are concerned with rules and strict conformity
  • Repeat nonsensical (to a child) phrases from adults such as you must get an education and make good grades. (Self-education through play and exploration is the normal tendency for a child (a healthy mind) and it is much more efficient at learning and imprinting that knowledge through joy and emotions of the whole body, than the reductionist methods we use for learning.)

Article on Teresa Carey's blog: Wedding Cancellation

For anyone who was planning on attending my wedding this sat 11the, I'm sorry to say that it won't be going ahead. Scott and I love each other and were looking forward to our big day, but just 7 days before we were to declare our vows to one another, the Curate tells us that we MUST vow to love one another until death us do part and that this is in accordance with God's law, but when we first met, I made it clear that we would never vow to love each other until death, no,no, the vow we would make would be to Love each other for Eternity. There was no problem raised at that time. What's worse, is that we would HAVE to say that it was in accordance to Gods Holy Law, and we KNOW that that is not True.

I testify to everyone who cares to listen that many years ago Scott and myself found ourselves blessed by being taken in spirit together to be in the presence of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Face to face. Through the Fire in His eyes, we saw God our Father and it was made known to us with total and complete certainty of Truth that they were One in the same, that they have always been, and will always be, and never was there a time when this was not so. Being in the presence of God through Jesus declared to us that God is indeed Love. He is limitless undying Love that can never cease to be and in all that beauty, mercy and Love He revealed to us both that we have been bound together as one, in His love always. And that in fact, we are ALL bound together as one in His Love for all Eternity. Never to cease.

His Holy Law was upon us for a only a brief  moment, but that moment carried with it the knowledge and experience of Eternity at One with the Author and Creator of Heaven and Earth and everything within it.

WE WERE BLOWN AWAY

Needless to say, that moment changed us both forever and will continue changing us right up until we make our way back home to Him in heaven.

To vow to love and cherish each other until death us do part does not come from God and is not a part of His Holy Law of Eternal Love because it comes to an end at the point of death and we know from God Himself that death has been defeated by Jesus giving His own life and then rising on the third day. All the Power and Authority He has over everything, He gives to us. He gives us ALL that same Authority and Power that is in him because of the greatness of His Love for us.

There is no way, that after having received such a glorious gift from Him, that either of us could or would ever stand before all our family and friends, the Curate, and the church of England, and make a vow that we know to be untrue. A lie, that is. And the plain Truth is, is that ALL lies can and will be traced back to the father of all lies, that forked tongued deceiver called Satan.

His language is different to God's. It is always contradictory to God's, and because God put His Word; His language in our hearts, even two seemingly insignificant small lines within the whole marriage ceremony that belong to Satan and not God stick out a million miles and can't be missed nor can they be ignored. They don't belong.

BUT...the church of England insist that we make those vows or they refuse to marry us. Even though they are not the ones entering into the vows! Vows are made by the couple that love each other as a declaration of that Love in the presence of God. There is no reason for the church to be so insistent on vows that they are not even making. Then again why would you be the church of a country when you could be the Church of God through Jesus Christ? That is what it's all about, after all. There will always come a point when a decision has to be made, on which path to walk. Will they bow down before the church of England ran by corruptible men, or will they submit themselves to the church of Christ that is as One and ran by incorruptible God?

It's blindingly obvious which path is Truth and leads all who are on it back home to be with the Father, and the one which leads all down a dead end road to nowhere.
I'm sorry that Emmanuel Church decided to hold on to the words of Satan when they could have followed the Words of Jesus.

They say there are a Christian church and yet even when I said to them if you won't do a marriage ceremony, will you instead do a simple church service celebrating the Love between two people who just happen to be born again Christians, so that in doing so, all our guests and loved ones could still meet at the church, get together and sing The Lord Of The Dance before moving on to the reception, causing far less upset and disappoint and confusion. No was their answer, because they say, it would be sending out the wrong message to all of our guests.

Again....the celebration of Love can never send out any wrong message, Love sends out only messages of good because all Love is Holy.

They say that it would undermine the value of marriage as though it wasn't needed.

The Truth is Love is greater than marriage. Jesus Himself tells us plainly over and over again that Love is the greatest of all commandments and if we are truly His disciples we must put Love above and before everything we do because in doing so all that we do will be made right by it.

Furthermore, I intended to and wanted to have a ceremony of marriage, but not at the cost of removing Love (which is the very essence of the Spirit of God) from the place it belongs; FIRST.
Put Love first, then everything follows Divine Order. Naturally.

In Jesus Name we'll forever remain in Love, Peace, Truth and Light. Amen.

Shepherds who remove fear.

"Institutions who use fear to control the hopes and aspirations of mankind concerning eternal life are in the gall of bitterness. Fear is of the devil. When the final remnant is gathered, they will have shepherds who remove fear. (Jeremiah 23:2-5.) When we are prepared by Christ, and by His word alone, we will not fear. (D&C 38:30.)"

From article: Concourses of Angles

The object of this mortal existence is to develop faith.  We need adversity and a sense of isolation from God in order to develop the character necessary to be like God.  There is a test underway.  But it is conducted by a benign and friendly heavenly host, whose primary purpose is to develop in us a godly character and charity toward one another.

Men and women may see Christ in vision or in an appearance as a solitary personage.  But no person has ever seen God the Father without also seeing a host of others.  They are referred to in scriptures as a "heavenly host," or "numerous angels," or "concourses of angels."  There is a reason that a company is always shown at the appearance of the Father.  You should look into the matter. Within the answer lies a great truth about God the Father.

Denver on the Nature of Zion

“The Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart, and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them.” (Moses 7: 18.) There were no poor among them physically; there were no poor among them spiritually. They did not compete, they cooperated. They did not envy, they shared. They did not pass a zoning law. I will tell you how to ruin Zion, how to keep it from coming, pass a zoning law. Decide you’re going to “police the neighborhood.” Start thinking you should have restrictive covenants so you can enforce views upon one another. The instant you start to regulate one another, Zion is gone. It slips right between your fingers. No man needs to say to another: “know ye the Lord; for they all are going to know him who dwell in Zion.” The new song to be sung presupposes the residents of Zion will know the Lord.

I thought about writing a fictional account of this curious city where those people who have several children live in big houses, while those who have no children live in small houses. In the place, no one has a job or schedule, but everyone works. One day the lead character gets up, walks outside, and notices that the lawn needs to be mowed. So he goes and finds a lawn mower and starts mowing. He mows at his house, then the next, then finds he has spent days mowing grass and is across the city to the other side. Everywhere he has been he found grass needing mowing, and he took care of it. He finishes after a couple of weeks, then returns to his house and says, “Hey, look at that the grass has grown again.” So he starts mowing again. He does this because he feels like mowing the grass at the time. He just wants to.

Then after the season, he notices there is only one person working in the local bakery. He had never worked in a bakery, but he decides to go see what it is like to work in a bakery—and he rather likes that. So he spends the next seasons in the bakery doing that. The following year he wonders whatever happened to the lawns. They have been cut since the spring, but he doesn‘t know who has been cutting them. He goes on his way to find out who has been cutting the lawn because he liked doing that and he has something in common with whoever is now mowing the grass. He would like to know how they like it and what their pattern for taking care of the work has become. He wants to ask them: “How did you do that?” On his way, he gets distracted by the orchard needing harvesting, so he spends that fall harvesting there.

So the story just ends, with what appears to be total chaos. A completely ungoverned society, where oddly enough everyone is at peace, but no one is in control. No one has a job, but everyone works, and the only thing that motivates any resident is what needs to be done. “Hey, let‘s take care of this” is the only motivation. And they do it for as long as they feel like doing it, and then they do something else. It is a story I‘ve considered writing, but have never done so. But now the idea for the story is in this talk, so you can write it in your own mind.

Our vision of Zion is regimented, regulated. We’re Mormons after all! We want to be controlled. A man cannot be saved unless there‘s a boss at the top. “This is your assignment.” “We are going to call you; we are going to sustain you.” “We are going to put your conscripted ass in this position and park it there and you must magnify that job!”—I am not sure anyone knows what “magnify” means, but I tell you, you better be calling attention to yourself so that everyone notices. We can‘t have the invisible lawn mower. We can‘t have the invisible baker. We can‘t have the invisible in harmony with everyone around them harvesting the orchard when it needs doing. Because this is the Zion Reich!—As soon as you do that, it is gone. It has slipped through your fingers. Zion is without compulsion. Zion will occur when the Lord brings again Zion. And it will happen perfectly naturally. But only among those who are fit to participate.

Three degrees of awareness:

  1. Dream of the first intention, the human form, victims, the dream of hell, begins by consuming the lie at the tree of knowledge, begins by self-rejection, and setting up idols or false images of perfection. Speak the Language of Gossip.
  2. Dream of the second attention, warriors, battling with awareness, fighting to become who we really are. Speak the Language of the Warrior.
  3. Dream of the third attention, masters, begins after the last judgement of ourselves or anyone else. Speak the Language of Truth. When the dead rise from their grave.

From The Four Agreements:

Imagine that the human mind is the same as your skin. You can touch healthy skin and it feels wonderful. Your skin is ma de for perception and the sensation of touch is wonderful. Now imagine you have an injury and the skin gets cut and infected. If you t ouch the infected skin, it is going to hurt, so you try to cover and protect the skin. You will not enjoy being touched because it hurts.

Now imagine that all humans have this skin disease. Nobody can touch each other because it is going to hurt. Everyone has wounds on their skin, so the infection is seen as normal, the pain is also considered normal; we believe we are supposed to be that way.

Can you imagine how we would behave with each other if all the humans in the world had this skin disease? Of course we would hardly ever hug each other because it would be too painful. So we would need to create a lot of distance between us.

The human mind is exactly like this description of infected skin. Every human has an emotional body completely covered with infected wounds. Each wound is infected with emotional poison — the poison of all the emotions that makes us suffer, such as hate, anger, envy, and sadness. An action of injustice opens a wound in the mind and we react with emotional poison because of the concepts and beliefs we have about injustice and what is fair. The mind is so wounded and full of poison by the process of domestication, that everyone describes the wounded mind as normal. This is considered normal, but I can tell you it is not normal.

We have a dysfunctional dream of the planet, and humans are mentally sick with a disease called fear. The symptoms of the disease are all the emotions that make humans suffer: anger, h ate, sadness, envy, and betrayal. When the fear is too great, the reasoning mind begins to fail, and we call this mental illness. Psychotic behavior occurs when the mind is so frightened and the wounds so painful, that it seems better to break contact with the outside world.

If we can see our state of mind as a disease, we fin d there is a cure. We don't have to suffer any longer. First we need the truth to open the emotional wounds, take the poison out, and heal the wounds completely. How do we do this? We must forgive those we feel have wronged us, not because they deserve to be forgiven , but because we love our-self so much we don't want to keep paying for the injustice.

Forgiveness is the only way to heal. We can choose to forgive because we feel compassion for ourselves. We can let go of the resentment and declare, "That's enough! I will no longer be the big Judge that goes against myself. I will no longer beat myself up and abuse myself. I will no longer be the Victim." First, we need to forgive our parents, our brothers, our sisters, our friends, and God. Once you forgive God, you can finally forgive yourself. Once you forgive yourself, the self-rejection in your mind is over. S elf-acceptance begins, and the self-love will grow so strong that you will finally accept yourself just the way you are. That's the beginning of the free human. Forgiveness is the key.

You will know you have forgiven someone when you see them and you no longer have an emotional reaction. You will h ear the name of the person and you will have no emotional reaction. When someone can touch what used to be a wound and it no longer hurts you, then you know you have truly forgiven.

The truth is like a scalpel. The truth is painful, because it opens all of the wounds which are covered by lies so that we can be healed. These lies are what we call the denial system. It's a good thing we have the denial system, because it allows us to cover our wounds and still function. But once we no longer have any wounds or any poison, we don't need to lie anymore. We don't need the denial system, because a healthy mind, like healthy skin, can be touched without hurting. It's pleasurable for the mind to be touched when it is clean.

From The Mastery of Love:

I want you to imagine that you live on a planet where everyone has a skin disease. For two or three thousand years, the people on your planet have suffered the same disease: Their entire bodies are covered by wounds that are infected, and those wounds really hurt when you touch them. Of course, they believe this is a normal physiology of the skin. Even the medical books describe this disease as a normal condition.

When the people are born, their skin is healthy, but around three or four years of age, the first wounds start to appear. By the time they are teenagers, there are wounds all over their bodies.

Can you imagine how these people are going to treat each other? In order to relate with one another, they have to protect their wounds. They hardly ever touch each other's skin because it is too painful. If by accident you touch someone's skin, it is so painful that right away she gets angry and touches your skin, just to get even. Still, the instinct to love is so strong that you pay a high price to have relationships with others.

Well, imagine that a miracle occurs one day. You awake and your skin is completely healed. There are no wounds anymore, and it doesn't hurt to be touched. Healthy skin you can touch feels wonderful because the skin is made for perception. Can you imagine yourself with healthy skin in a world where everyone has a skin disease? You cannot touch others because it hurts them, and no one touches you because they make the assumption that it will hurt you.

If you can imagine this, perhaps you can understand that someone from another planet who came to visit us would have a similar experience with humans. But it isn't our skin that is full of wounds. What the visitor would discover is that the human mind is sick with a disease called fear. Just like the description of the infected skin, the emotional body is full of wounds, and these wounds are infected with emotional poison. The manifestation of the disease of fear is anger, hate, sadness, envy, and hypocrisy; the result of the disease is all the emotions that make humans suffer.

All humans are mentally sick with the same disease. We can even say that this world is a mental hospital. But this mental disease has been in this world for thousands of years, and the medical books, the psychiatric books, and the psychology books describe the disease as normal. They consider it normal, but I can tell you it is not normal.

When the fear becomes too great, the reasoning mind starts to fail and can no longer take all those wounds with all the poison. In the psychology books we call this a mental illness. We call it schizophrenia, paranoia, psychosis, but these diseases are created when the reasoning mind is so frightened and the wounds so painful, that it becomes better to break contact with the outside world.
