I heard a disturbing testimony today which laid the kind of praise and adulation you normally only hear given to a being you worship.

"He knows my needs, he knows your needs. He knows each of us. I hope I can follow the prophet."

There was no ambiguity as to who he was referring, and this was no "crazy" member. This was the Bishop.

This feeling among members in their worship is known, but to hear it actually voiced like this was shocking.
